The fruition of ohana senior living

Ohana Senior Living was established after two families came together with a common heart, mission, and vision to give quality care to seniors in need. The call to open a residential assisted living home was cultivated by the Rehm and Prorok families.

After a lot of prayers, sweat and tears the fruition of “Ohana Senior Living” was born. Here you will find a beautiful loving home where quality care and enjoyment is our priority.

A little bit about us:

Scott Rehm is a veteran who served nine years in the Marine Corps and obtained his Bachelors of Nursing at Roseman University in 2017. Now working at a local hospital as an ER nurse. His wife Jeanalin went to school to become a nurse back in 2011 but both of her parents and both grandfathers passed away a year and a half apart during this time. She then decided to drop out of school. She eventually obtained her MBA from National University in 2016 and works at Zappos. Together they invest in real estate and always wanted to start a business where they can help others. They decided to start a residential assisted living home because Scott's father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer back in 2008. His father battled cancer for 8 years. At the end of his life, his father went to an assisted living facility where the quality of care was decreased because of the lack of patient ratio to health care workers. Seeing his father not get the quality care he deserved sparked a desire for Scott to be the change. Scott serves in the Financial Peace University Ministry and went to Haiti for a missions trip. Jeanalin is a missionary and went to the Philippines and Haiti. She now serves on the multimedia ministry producing video content. Scott and Jeanalin also has two sons and they enjoy spending family time together.

Going to New Hope Las Vegas, The Rehm's met the Prorok's and instantly hit it off with the same interest in finances and ministries. Serving alongside and teaching Financial Peace University at their church, the organic chemistry came about to start a business together.

Nicholas Prorok is an investor and previously a realtor. He has been in the service industry for over 10 years. Nicholas is a distinguished graduate from Front Site Training Institue. He trains mix martial arts to keep in shape and loves to read. He serves at New Hope Las Vegas on the Cleaning Ministry, Youth Ministry, and teaches Financial Peace University. As one of the caregivers for his Grandmother for 10 years, Nick saw the toll it puts on families who care for their loved ones and the need for assisted living. He saw first hand how the right care could add years to someone's life and how the wrong care could take years off of someone's life. This became a passion for Nick to help and support families to bless them with a peace of mind that their loved one would be well taken care of. Every person at Ohana Senior Living would be treated as if they were his own mom, dad, grandpa, or grandma. His mission is to provide the best quality of life.

Daniel Prorok was born and raised in the mid-west after he graduated he moved to Hawaii, and that is where he met his wife, Collene Prorok. Daniel worked in the car business for over 15  years as a General Sales Manager and then promoted to a Director of Finance at a Mega-Dealer in Las Vegas. He left his lucrative position to become a realtor. He has been in the real estate industry for over 19 years. His attitude, knowledge, negotiation skills, and heart to serve his clients are what makes him successful. He always puts his clients first. Those same leadership skills propelled Collene Prorok to top 1% in her division as a VP, Project Consultant for one of the largest financial institutions, supporting over 15,000 leaders and associates. After 18 years she left her career to join her husband Daniel in real estate. Today Daniel and Collene work together side by side as real estate professionals and rank in the top 3% in their office. They both serve on the Spirit of Kindness Ministry feeding the homeless at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, and Leaders over the Young Adult Ministry at New Hope Las Vegas Christian Fellowship and serve as Council Members.

The Proroks took care of Collene’s mom for over 10 years who was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia, which left her unable to care for herself. This ignited Daniel and Collene to partner up with their son Nicholas, and dear friends Scott and Jeanalin  to provide the best care for the elderly. A home where families are comfortable, leaving a loved one in the hands of people they trust.
